it's another day at the pool with my pool pal, "split"-slurping girlfriend. And we blew up this 2-person float which took us about one oprah winfrey show to finish blowing up, and we chatted, prayed and soaked up the sun, drifting about on the empty pool. I like. She's someone who's been there when i needed her. And i hope to be there for her when she needs me too. There are flaws and hiccups in the way i treat my friends, but i dare say, Friends for life :)
I miss days like these, and though we both may not meet as often as we would like, due to our different paths we're at, but when i know that this friendship is not based on convenience and of frivolous interests, but something that lasts.
