Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength.

1 Corinthians 1:20-25

where do i begin

Thursday, November 02, 2006

there's been so much going on, and i wanna blog about them, but just where do i begin?

i could start with diving, but that event itself is worth more than a few lines so i'll need to check back on that.

and then, there were the cake-baking sessions, of soggy, mousse-like cheesecake and adorable cupcakes!

oh, and the meet-ups with my loves from poly, how i heard of wedding bells and the latest happenings in all of their lives, so the excitings,

and how Jingli's salvation just made my entire month, if not year!

and you could really get addicted to sleepovers, when your pajama party partner is as entertaining and lovable as charbee! begonia drive has never been more familiar than before.

i miss my berrie, the sherrie too! and how i was so happy to see her during her youth group's shootout, and that very special heart-to-heart talk that very night. I love you so much berrie!

bennykins make the best tour guide around Geylang Serai, and a really good white-hair spotter. i lost 5 strands from his really good eyesight. and i learnt so much about geography just by looking at fried macaroni! and the only way to eat pasar-malam food is by a fountain, in the dark where the world just passes you by.

turning 24 this year is the best turn ever! i didn't think anyone took me seriously when i casually said i'd love to have a Macdonald's Bday Party, but guess whose wish came true? teamCS, you guys are so awesome! and the many blessings i received from so many others in various forms, and hanging out with the lovely ladies of WAE were the loves.

and i'm still so in love with oldie songs! come get finger-snappy with me!

and that JB trip! where charbee and i stepped into a roomful of DVDs and just stood there in wonder at the insane amount of titles, and where we had delicious battered crayfish! and where we spent 1.5hrs getting lost while coming home, and gettin too acquainted with the place "tempoi", and even coming up with an itinerary for a future road-trip!

and i was Sharako for a day! (ala Sadako from The Ring)

and then A Cold Rash production was born! all thanks to clever colin!

i finally got some sun too, basking a little while under the Sentosa sun! a little goodbye to pasty popiah-looking skin!

and in recent news, school has started and i feel super unmotivated, but at the same time, really blessed coz' Ed's been so amazingly encouraging, simply as a classmate.

i could ramble on and on, and be even more random. but i shall spare you from more disjointed paragraphings, cluttered thoughts and lower-casing letters where i should be upper-casing them, like "i" for example.

and for now, it's later amigos!

one of those quizzes

charbee gave me a link and i went and did a quiz and got this,
